AU PAIR
Fick ett mail inatt från au pair-familjen jag skulle ha Skype:at med ikväll. De har matchat med en annan, från Frankrike (de ville helst ha någon som kan franska då barnen läser franska). De var den familjen från Boston som jag ville ge en chans att lära känna bättre, även fast jag kände att de kanske inte riktigt passade mig eftersom de gillade friluftslivet och historia (vilken jag inte är så intresserad av).
Men jag fick i alla fall ett långt brev och här är ett utdrag; (boostar egot liksom, haha!)
"Dear Emma - I am very sorry that we have decided this weekend to match with another au pair candidate.
...Your application is the best one we have seen in the Au Pair group. We loved your interests and your essay, and it is obvious that your English is perfect.
...I think your application is a real standout and that you will find that you can choose any family you wish - you will be in great demand.
...It has been hard for us to make the difficult decision. I hope that you come to the Boston area and that you will contact us if so - we would love to meet you."
